# Destroy a runtime

`destroy` deletes the deployed runtime. With no name it resolves the runtime from the project's local config (`.agentkit/agentkit.yaml`); pass a name to target one explicitly. This removes the runtime itself — use it to tear down a deployment you no longer need.
