# Status

`status` shows the runtime state for the current lifecycle config. `local` mode reads the local container state; `cloud` and `hybrid` modes query AgentKit Runtime.

## status

Output includes available endpoint, container id, runtime id, image, uptime, and health check state. Detailed metadata is printed as JSON for troubleshooting config or runtime state.

Use this command from a project where `deploy` or `launch` has run. It reads that configuration's deployment record rather than listing every runtime in the account. Use [`runtime show`](/productions/agentkit-cli/preview/en/commands/runtime#runtime-show) to inspect another runtime by name or ID

If no deployment record is found, check the directory and `--config-file` before assuming a cloud service was deleted. A healthy runtime still needs an application call to verify its model, tools, and business logic
