Check for updates

The upgrade command (alias update) checks whether the current CLI is behind the latest published version and, when it is, installs the latest version after confirmation.

upgrade

Check and upgrade the AgentKit CLI to the latest published version. Run without options, it compares versions first and, if a newer one exists, asks whether to install it now.

Confirming an upgrade runs the installer and replaces the local CLI. To preserve a reproducible release environment, record agentkit --version first and use --check or --json to inspect without installing

The upgrade runs the install script from the official release channel (equivalent to wget -qO- <release>/install.sh | sh). If the release channel is unreachable, the check fails. Restore connectivity, rerun --check, and then follow the printed installation command.
