veadk web starts the Google ADK browser debugger to select local agents, send messages, and inspect events. It integrates memory configured on a VeADK root agent, offers optional OAuth2 login, and hides OpenAPI documentation pages by default

Start

Complete installation and model configuration. Create these two files in agents/assistant/
agents/assistant/__init__.py
agents/assistant/agent.py
Run from the parent directory of agents:
Open http://127.0.0.1:8000, select assistant, and send text. A successful run shows a response and execution events. If the app is absent, check the directory, root_agent, and import errors
The default setup is for local debugging. Binding 0.0.0.0 allows other devices to connect. Hiding OpenAPI pages does not enable authentication; configure authentication and network controls for shared access

Forwarded options

This complete list was checked against adk web --help in Google ADK 2.2.0. VeADK forwards these options; check local help after upgrading ADK. None means unspecified, not that a service has been configured Do not explicitly combine service URIs with --use_local_storage. ADK CLI URI syntax should not be confused with db_url when constructing a VeADK session backend directly

VeADK OAuth2 options

SSO requires both the user pool and client name. Provide credentials for the selected cloud environment and verify callback registration. Automatic setup may create a pool or client or update callback URLs
The command’s OAuth2 adapter targets local HTTP debugging and permits non-HTTPS cookies. For production or public access, use Frontend/Studio authentication or configure HTTPS middleware explicitly

Automatic memory integration

When the root is a VeADK Agent, its short_term_memory and long_term_memory are used by the app runner. Workflow roots do not automatically adopt every child’s memory configuration; choose session and memory services at the runner or app level. Deploy apps separately when they require different data boundaries and configure authorization

OpenAPI and default logging

/openapi.json, /docs, and /redoc are disabled, and the default log level is ERROR. Set --log_level DEBUG explicitly for diagnostics. Debug logs may include user input and tool data; restore your required level afterward

Agent build graph serialization

The debugger can display VeADK topology and model names. If the graph fails to load, confirm the root agent imports, then check the VeADK/Google ADK version combination and browser request errors
